Is weed bad for you.?!

Question: It's only as bad as smoking is for you. People with addictive personality's should stay clear of it, they are the people who end up taking other things aswell. It's not the drug that leads to bigger drugs, it all depends on the person.

I smoke it, in moderation, at the end of my day and it has no negative's effects on me and i enjoy it. I dont drink alcohol and i believe alcohol had a bigger negative effect on society today.

Not necessarily. There are things that are much worse.

kinda DUHHHH

Y U HIGH

yes... it is

i dont think so i smoke weed so much in gr.10 and for a lil u seem a little slow lmao but nothing really.

In the long run it can be. I have heard it can cause cancer, but that was once. I have not heard or seen reports of it. That wouldn't make sense since it is used to help cancer patience to forget the pain. LoL. It depends if you have an addictive personallity. Then that can be bad for you because that is when you get addicted to it and suffer from memory loss.

Omg, Weed is terrible for you, google it!

Yes it is. There are things that are worse but that does not make weed good. If you are on it, get off it now..

it makes memory weaker and people that have had a lot of weed in teen years do tend to have a low IQ.

Anything in excessive amounts can be bad for you. Marijuana, when mixed with tobacco and smoked, can give you all the negative effects of cigarette smoking (higher risk of certain cancers, emphysema etc), and it's been shown to exaccerbate psychotic symptoms in some people already suffering from mental illness.

yes

Yeah. Smoking it carries risks of cancer, especially when smoked with tobacco. There is evidence to suggest that it might have long term psychiatric effects which may be serious.

It's not clear how risky it may be but it's naive to imagine it's harmless despite what advocates of it may say. Equally, the risks may be less than from the use of alcohol or tobacco.

Use in moderation on an infrequent basis seems unlikely to present very high risks but the jury is still out on the real risks you run.

However, it is delicious and a bit moreish.

Too much, yes...but overall I think it is pretty harmless. Much better for one than booze. The only bad part is that it is still smoking (unless you eat/drink it) so there is the lung cancer factor. You hold the smoke in longer, so the damage can be worse than regular smoking.

And you need to just stop it at a certain age or be prepared to look foolish. Old stoners are not an attractive bunch.

Any kind of smoke going into your lungs is unhealthy. But I wouldn't say it's any worse for you than cigarettes, unless you get in trouble with the law for having it. People think weed is so bad just bc it's illegal-when alcohol is much for for people..i.m.o.

Everything in moderation, I have a mate who says it isnt addictive, yet he smokes weed every day, and gets violent when he has none, and abusive, if i suggest he stops (so it is addictive)

In small amounts like you say I dont think it`ll do much, but in large amounts, i think you can become dependant on it, ive also heard there is an increased risk of some cancers.

Also, people who do weed every day, generally, encourage everyone else, to do the same, don`t do it, unless you want to do the same, and, become dependant yourself, same goes for all none prescription drugs, including alcohol and tobacco, im a tobacco addict and im stupid on alcohol.

I personally, do weed socially, every blue moon, (ie) about 1/2 a joint every 6 months or less, usually just to be sociable (some people get offended if you dont)

It is a bit like someone asking ' Is it a bad idea to jump off the Empire State Building?'

Cannabis increases the incidence of psychotic mental disease by 40%. All chronic users develop brain atrophy, or shrinkage, this accellerates and causes dementia. It has all the smoking risks of cigarettes, but is 6 times more likely to lead to lung cancer. and of course it has a high potential for psychological addiction.

I would say that its good for you not bad for you.It opens your mind and thats why the goverment ban it. Its easier to control people with closed minds. You look at things in a different way when stoned and that can be a good thing.
