How many years did it take for you to get through Medical School?!

For me, 6 years because I intercalated, so I got a BSc as well as my MBChB. If I hadn't done the BSc, it would only have taken 5 years.

How did it take you so long to get through??? Did you have to do a pre-med degree or something?
