well.. fresh fruit & veg have to be good for you.. which is also why i try as much as possible to cook my own meals.
i will avoid as often as possible any 'pre-cooked' meals that you just bung in the microwave.

i also hardly ever eat red meat and actually prefer turkey (i substitute this instead if minced beef for chilli & bolognese). i only drink occasionally, either wine or cider.. always in moderation.

i don't want to get overweight, so i try to be careful how much i eat.. i'm still the same sized waist, as i have been now for 10-15 years (34").. i like to think that i am quite healthy.. although i could do better, with more exercise.

everyone in my opinion needs to be careful what they eat.. as in proportion size and also fast food/take-away's..etc.. might be the easy option.. but once you see what goes into making a macdonalds or kfc.. .it turns your stomach thinking about it.

    No, just find some good sites about nutrition ...like About.com
    Pick a vitamin shop in your area with knowledgeable staff & buy some basic supplements. Use those as your "experts" & then don't listen to 30 second stories on news programs about nutrition...they are often very biased.

    Just eat lean protein; fruits & veggies; whole grains; carbohydrates.
    Drink at least 8 glasses of water/day.
    Take a good multi-vitamin/mineral.

    Just feel good & relax=)

    not really - I always eat what i like, just in moderation and have never had a problem - at my last check up - weight cholesterol/vitals were all great - doc asked what I do to maintain my weight and health - said I must excercise like crazy - nope - I drink tons of water, no caffeine, and eat what I like....

    Probably. My problem is, I know what I should eat and drink, but it isn't always what I want to eat and drink.
