I checked no to the domor question. I've smoked cigs for almost 25yrs. My organs are probably shot anyway.

I sure did! I've been ready to give whatever anyone can use since 1985! Livers are becoming very popular. I had a friend in a band several years ago, that had a liver transplant so he could drink again (idiot). Christmas 2006 my cousin finally was getting close to the top of the liver list, when his kidneys went out, so he needed some of those, too. He did get his liver and one kidney. Now I have a friend at work whose wife just got on the liver list. I want to give back all I can. One day I needed 11 pints of blood. It is the most loving thing we can do for people we don't even know.
On my lic. I'm a donor, I also have a living will, a D & R [ don't use any measures to keep me alive] and I signed over my body so that others[ dr's, interms, med pactice,etc] can learn from my body. I feel I'm here on earth now, so enjoy me while I'm alive, don't come crying over my casket while I'm dead, It's to late.
