Normal bowel movement?!

Question: on occasion I have very thin bowel movements, maybe one or two times per week.Looking online I see that this may be a sign of some type of growth. If its not thin all the time would that still be a sign of a polyp or other growth?I have seen my doctor a couple of times for stomach problems and he says not to worry,he did blood work but not a colonoscopy, but why sometimes the thin stool and the loud gurgling in my stomach, this all started about 2 or three years ago, does anyone else have this problem?

increase the fibre in your diet and this will help to bulk up your stool and also help with the gurgling which could be too much fluid in the stool. Fibre is essential for maintaining intestinal health.
An easy way to do it is with a high fibre cereal - I like POST as it tastes good and is high in fibre.
If the doctor says not to worry and you still are - speak with him/her of your concerns and they can explain why it is nothing to be worried about.
Believe me, if you don't NEED a colonoscopy you don't want to do it!!
