Obviously i will start again when i feel better

i feel your pain i had mine out when i was 19 (unusual i know but i had chronic tonsillitis) i know what your saying i didn't really eat much for about two weeks i thought it might of been the medication , it wont do u much harm (my parents are both doctors and didn't seem worried) i found putting a Capri sun (personally the tropical) in the freezer till it went like a slushy was good to help with the pain .I think as long as you taking fluids u'll be ok your appetite will come back slowly , just remember not to pig out when it does that can make you feel worse .good luck

I had mine out when I was 7, I was given ice cream and soft food for the first few days. Indulge yourself and eat what you fancy!

Try to drink things like soup. Maybe some yogurt or ice cream. I had mine out years ago. I know it hurts. The food is to help you retain/regain your strength. Maybe some oatmeal or other soft, warm cereal.

carry on with the toast wether your hungry or not, it helps remove the scabs. Sounds disgusting but it helps avoid infection too (and god help you if you get one!) I did because i didnt eat and i smoked. Had mine out 2 yr ago at 31.

Yes ite really important to eat afterwards,my doctors told me to eat as normally as possible afterwards, though its really difficult so i was eating sandwhiches and weetabix for the few days after and tomato soup. You need to eat to keep your strenght up,you could risk infection which wont be good. Please look after yourself and dont go near anyone with a cough,i caught one a couple weeks after having them out it was painful!
Take your painkillers and try eating when they are working, good luck x

it's better you can eat icecream.....mmmmmmmm
