Is my piercing supposed to be this sore?!
Question: I just got a monroe nose and ear pearcing everything else is fine but my monroe feels sore. Is this normal? and is there something i can do to help it?

its likely sore because of the swelling. This is normal
if your jewelry feels tight, you should go back to the piercer and get a longer stud put in so that it will accommodate your swelling.
You can take ibuprofen to help with the pain/swelling and it would also help to suck on some ice.
if you notice that you've got any unusual discharge (green, red brown or anything other than clear, white or slightly yellowish) you need to be concerned as this would be a sign of infection. You'd also know that you had an infection if the discharge smells bad.
If you're still unsure of what is going on, the best thing to do is to go back to the piercer and have them look at your piercing.

Ears and noses are usually fine,
monroe would probably hurt more because its your lip.
Ears and noses are more cartalidge.
Also you JUST got it peirced!

its may hurt more on u.
and less on others.
but if its all red.
then take it out,
but normally,
a needle just went through it, so its going to be sore.
and use and ice pack
I'm pretty sure that it's normal. It was sore on me for weeks.
You can try putting medicine on it, or a cold ice pack will do the trick. But normally, you don't want to walk around with ice tied to your nose.
im guessing since
you just got it it would
have to be a little swollen
and hurt a little just leave it
alone for while maybe a week
to amonth take some pain
killers if it hurts too much
but if it keeps hurting get it checked out
my friend got her monroe peirced it hurt it took her about 4 day for her not to feel bad pain but about 15 days till it completely recovered but when she was getting a new jewel in there they took the old one out and they couldn't but a new one in so now its all gone =-(
i got a monroe, and thats on the lip so i was confused when you said monroe nose. mine healed pretty quickly. now i got an industrial done (bar in the top of the ear) and i couldnt sleep on that ear for months. just keep it clean and if it doesnt go down get it checked out!
I've had my septum, tongue, lip, belly button, and all the way up both ears pierced and the sorest anything got was my tongue...
My lip swelled up for 3 or 4 days but it healed pretty quick, try cleaning it @ least 3 times a day and whatever you do DON'T TOUCH IT!! Also, they say not to remove the piercing if you think its infected bc then it leaves the hole open for an even greater infection.
Wait like another day or 2 and if it gets worse go to the doctor, or back to the shop where you had it done.

dont use soap or anything "anti bacterial" to clean it. use saline solution. anything else will make it worse. i had to learn the hard way and now i have a ugly scar on my bellybutton.
