Dehydration issues?!

Question: I just had surgery on March 21st and it involved my face, my tongue is swollen and so isn't half my face. It makes it hard to eat and drink but I do. I think not enough though.
My stomach isn't feeling too good and my eyes feel funny.
I don't want to have to go back to the hospital to get an IV. Is there anything I can do at home besides keep drinking water? Something to make it better faster?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks! ?

GO TO THE DOCTOR!!!! There are so many things it could be, especially after any surgery. I ignored something like this once and ended up with renal failure because I was too stubborn to go to the hospital. You feel bad because something is wrong, don't ignore what your body has to say.

Keep drinking the water! That is the best hydration you can get. If you aren't getting enough nutrition, try drinking something like, Boost or Ensure. There are several different flavors and they are good for you. Just don't drink too many in a day as they are full of fiber. Good luck to you and I hope you get better soon.
