Do you think euthanasia is wrong?!

Question: I think that terminaly ill patients who are in great pain or suffering should have to die. I know in the catholic and other religions it is considered bad but it doesnt make sense to me that God would allow such suffering and not give the person any options. What are your opinions concerning the matter?

hell no

When the quality of life is extinguished by illness or severe deformity - it only makes sence to end the suffering.

The religious nuts care nothing about a terminally ill patients suffering or retaining dignity.

Thier focus is upholding a belief that only THIER god can determine when it's time for someone to pass on.

A person who is so enveloped in religion thinks nothing of letting thier own superstition & delusion intrude in the lives (& deaths) of others.

Terminally ill or not, we ALL HAVE to die, theres no getting around that. I do think that decision should be left up to the individual as to whether he/she waits for God to do his duties, or if he/she should choose Kevorkian methods.I see nothing wrong with assisted suicide Kevorkian style for those that see no hope for a cure or painless ending.
I do not think euthanasia is right though.Everyone deserves to live, with the exception of those that break laws where punishment by death is their sentance. My family knows exactly where I stand... If something ever happens to me where I am living on a machine for more then two days, the plug is to be pulled, and let it be over, so everyone can get over the grieving sooner and get on with their lives. If I am ever in a terrible state, for example, my body getting severly burned, you know , lifelong suffering, my family knows I do not want to suffer, and an end to the suffering should be enforced.
I guess I am a little wierd.... I believe in dr assisted suicide for terminally ill, I am a strong supporter of capital punishment, but no, I would never back the idea that they should HAVe to die by euthanasia.

Since this is an opinion q&a, then I'd have to say it's up to the person if it's right and wrong. I'm a catholic and obviously not a devout one at that. But, I do believe that God is loving and forgiving. I doubt that God would punish people if they commit euthanasia if they had good intentions. (I mean that's why he gave us free will, right?) But one can also argue that good intentions differ from man to man. And, plus questions of morals never has a definite answer.
