BodyBuilders are NOT healthy, they trim their body fat down to unhealthy levels using suppliments and chemicals, then proceed to dehydrate themselves in order to get the "veined" look. it is possible to have a large mass of muscle while being healthy, but even Arnold can tell you that competitive body building will kill you fast if you dont take your day in the sun and then retire. I have known many of people who compete in that way and their bodies are wrecked by 30 years old.. not to mention the immense strain of the intensive training they need to do to constantly maintain mass.. bone shearing is a nasty condition. for the healthiest you can be, simply use your own body weight as resistance, pull ups, sit ups, squats, push ups. and activities like swimming and stretching. your body is all you need to be healthy.

It's not normal because bodybuilders are on roids!

no they use steriods & ham

Arnold and Lou are still kickin' ... that says a lot!

Most of them live a shorter life. I mean it's healthy to be fit, but there's a line between "fit" and "body builder". And most of them use steroids, so again, not too healthy.

I am guessing probably not as they have all the steroids

don't get it twisted !!!!
not all body builders are on Roids!
and yes body builders can be healthy if they don't have any genetic deceases like diabetes and such .
they keep a strict regimen of exercise and a healthy eating habit . that sometimes can leads to an exercise addiction
cant say much for your average Joe

some body builders are healthy. Not to many pro body builders are natural any more. I looked into juicing and the amounts of stuff some body builders take and it is crazy and very unhealthy. If they didnt take so much. Besides that they do everythin 100% healthy besides lifting heavy and tearing up there joints and body. It has its ups and downs

Yes some are healthy and some are not. Just like people who are not bodybuilders.
As for the tit who said they're all on steroids, they are idiots who read a paper and believe it.

most professional athletes such as Olympic 100 metere runners have a body percentage of fat at around 4 percent. thats the recomended maximum for incredibly fit athletes. body builders go less they like practically no fat. thats so there is no fat under the skin for competition just muscle. they are incredibly weak and unfit because of the toll starving the body and training.
