Where do body twitches come from?!

Question: I've been having minor body twitches lately. Usually when I'm relaxed on the couch or when I'm laying in bed.

I'm not worried that it's anything serious, I was just wondering if anyone knew why they happen and if there's anyway to make them stop.

Thanks! :]

It is just your body's way of relaxing and releasing a day's load of stress. This usually happens in people who have "anxious" tendencies. It is nothing real serious to worry about unless you think you might have restless leg syndrome, in which case you should have it checked out by a doctor.

it is just your mussels relaxing. i dont think you can make it stop

Your nervouse sytsem. It's your muscles way of helping your circulation. If you stay really still you will start to twitch because as your muscles contract it szqeeses blood through the veins. : )

Could be a magnesium deficiency.
