Can Someone Still Get Growing Pains At The Age Of 17?!

Question: I just turned 17 a month ago and for a few nights now have been having pain in my legs, there not hurting just aching and it mostly happens at night.

I haven't been doing any new exercises or anything too strenuous.
I know no one on here is a Doctor but i just what to know what you think, did you experience this?

I did, and I wasn't even growing.

I went to my Doctor about it (who happened to be some kind of specialist, but he was my main GP too at the time) and i described the pains to him and he said that they were most likely growing pains.

If they start to go past that kind of 'growing pain' feeling then nip to your Dr. I just wanted to say that yes it is very possible to get those kind of pains at 17.

Growing pains arn't really because you are 'growing' all the time, sometimes Drs. use the term 'growing pains' when a young person/teenager has an unexplained, but harmless, ache somewhere. :)

Yes you may very well be having growing pains. usually girls will stop growing around 18 years of age and men around 21. give or take a year or two on each.

YES!!!! And i can know i am 17...I screamed of pain xD... It will pass...I get it sometimes still but its ok...Be glad it isnt so horrible u scream xD

That sounds like Restless Legs Syndrome

-Deep-seated
-Creeping
-Crawling
-Jittery
-Tingling
-cramping
-hard to describe
-Burning
-pulling
-Aching

-does it feel better with movement?
