If I have a normal body temperature of 97.2 F, would a temperature of 99F be con!

Question: Over the last three days, my temperature (taken orally) has been fluctuating, mainly between 98 and 99 degrees Fahrenheit, while my normal body temperature is around 97.2 degrees. It has also been accompanied with lightheadedness and mild headaches which move around, ranging from the back of my head to the top to the temples and behind my ear, mostly on the left side.

Basically my question is, since my body temperature is typically lower than most peoples, would a 99 degree temperature be considered a fever? Should I consider going to the doctor if it continues (its been a bit more than three days now)?

Any ideas what it could be?

Your temperature is completely normal.Physical activity as well as mental problems ( anxiety stress ) can increase body temperature up to 100 degrees.I would say the very fact that you are worrying about this is what causes the temperature to be little more higher then normal.Couple of years ago I was also constantly have a low grade fever aroun 99 -100 degrees and done all kind of tests etc and doctors didnt find anything, that is untill one doctor said I was having anxiety disorder and prescribed some pills for that and voila next day temperature was normal. So bottom line you should go to the doctor and do some basic tests if you think something is wrong,if everything is ok,diagnosis is then : stress and anxiety

wait tell it hits 100 and then go into the dr. My temp is low like yours to. Like 97.3 and my temp was 100 so i knew i had a problem. Mine went up to 102. I didnt go into the dr though cause i dont throw up or nothing like that.
