How long should I stay awake after a minor head concussion?!
Question: Got in a wreck today, nothing major, but I hit my head on the windshield. It wasnt reported because it was relly just a fender bender but I did hit my head. The hospital wouldnt treat me bacause it wasnt reported. I have a little knot on my head and a slight headache. How long should I wait to go to sleep?

There is no time limit on subdural hematomas-- If the headache persists, go to the ER. They cannot , by law, refuse to see you. An Epidual hematoma is the result of a fracture that tears the middle meningeal artery. They come to, have a period of lucidity, then go into coma. Sounds like you are past that. Does not sound too threatening. Go to bed at your usual time, get someone to check on you.
aw poor (((thinking cap))) the hospital wouldn't treat you? wow america's health system is screwed. Go down there and demand treatment.
