Temporary blindness?!
Question: This morning I was sleeping. When I awoke I had my hand against the area around my left eye. When I woke up I could not see anything out of that eye. Total blackness. This lasted for maybe 10 minutes then began to clear up. I can now see totally normally from that eye. Anyone have any ideas what could have caused that?

I think you might have had nerve pinched. Go to see the doctor if that happens again or you have pain or other unusual symptoms.

It would not hurt to have an opthmologist do an eye exam to make certain your eyes are in good health. It might have been a fluke thing that will never happen again but it's better to be safe than sorry.
