I have taken zoloft for several years for anxiety. In the past, I would experience anxiety at stores, in employer meetings, and even group activites such as sporting events and school orientations. I no longer have those reactions. The drug won't make you the "life of the party", but it will allow you to relax so that you don't feel panicky and unapproachable. If your doctor prescribes it, I would have to trust that your doctor knows what is best, and give it a try. Keep in mind, the drug takes about a week to begin working. I am confident you will recognize a change. Good luck, and get ready to enjoy life again!!
if i new what that was i would say no to helping your social life because you can't let a pill take over your life
I used to be, but I went off of it after finding out that I could just hang out with people and get the same effects.
