SO when we get older we are not as prone to injuring ourselves, better body posture,
improve daily performances, example: bending down to pick up objects more easily with out having to strain certain parts of your body.
improves recovery of muscles, helps to relieve tension and stress

To expand the muscles to keep them from cramping and to get the body going again.

Stretching relieves stress and muscle tension.
