When you're Sleeping and Waking Up ?!


Question: Hey, I am terrible at getting to sleep early and also terrible at waking up early. What do you guys do to go sleep and wake-up more easily ?

The problem with waking up and going to sleep is technology, technology makes our brains work really hard (Without us even knowing) and because of that, if say you just got off the pc after talking on a chat room, or on here, or just surfing sites, or have just been watching that WWE match on tv (sorry first thing that came to mind XD ) but yah, if you do anything that requires your concentration, and then go to bed, you're not going to sleep because your brain is wizzing about. even if you are tired.

ok, to the point

about an hour before bed, start winding down, listen to SLOW music (piano, soft singing, no rock and stuff) Really slow music that is calming, you can try reading but a lot of people then concentraite on that and we go back to square one XD you need to do something that doesn't require much concentration or thought that is relaxing, during this hour before bed, make sure you've done everything you need to do as well or you'll be in bed all cosey then BOOM you remember you left the cat in the fridge and the hamster in the washing machine!

you need to go to bed with nothing on your mind

you can get pills called Kalms now that help sleep i do believe ^.^

waking up

this is hard, we need about 7hrs 30mins sleep a day =) keep that in mind, my best advice to you is to get one of the following

Light alarm, an alarm that has a light and it grows slowly and natrually wakes you up

a progressive alarm, - an alarm that starts REALLY quiet, then slowly gets louder and louder, this wakes you up slowly, which is good, because if you get a loud alarm and shock yourself awake, you don't wake up properly

....i myself am tired XD so i might not have made sense XD

i have the same problem. i just crawl out of bed and get in the shower. after about 15 minutes i usually start to wake up

4 alarm clocks, works sometimes.
