Too warm to get frostbite?!

Question: ok so today I went four-wheeling with my fiance we live in minnesota so there was still about a foot of snow left where we were. It was like 38 degrees but it had a wind out today so I am guessing it was around 34 degrees but when you are going 30 mph it gets even colder...It was really muddy and my pants (jeans) were SOAKED with mud and snow from the knee down after awhile my legs got SO COLD it felt like my legs were on fire and burned so bad and it felt like I was going to have to peel my jeans off my legs. I was wearing boots but they got muddy water on the inside and by the time we were done 4-wheeling I could barely walk to the care because my feet and legs (from the knees down) were burning and cold!
When I got home I took a HOT shower (I know I shouldnt get in a hot shower when im SO cold but I did) and my feet and legs hurt so bad when the water hit them it felt like knives! my feet and legs look fine but....... did I do any damage to myself since there was such a bad pain?

you should be fine if your feet look normal and you can still move your toes. if you damaged your foot at all, you probably just destroyed some nerve cells, which may or may not grow back. its alright, your feeling might just be slightly diminished. you lose nerve cells just the same whenever you hit your head or bruise your knee. you'll be fine. if you're still not sure, go see a doctor.

Don't worry about it
the body can heal itself.

If there is no pain now
then the body is coping.

You will know if there is a problem
as the blood will not circulate properly
and parts of the toe will become discolored and mottled.

I don't think you have to worry about this.
