Fainted? Please read?!

Question: This is the first time it's happened, I was walking towards my room, when all of a sudden, my vision turned black, and the next thing I knew it, plop, I was on the floor. I had a really bad headache for a second, but I lied down on my bed for about 10 minutes, now I feel fine. I just came home from the gym, could it have been over exertion, or the heat from the sauna? What could it have been, and it is of any signifacance other than to scare the living daylights out of me? Is fainting something normal that happens to everyone?

What exactly happens to your body/brain when you faint?

It honestly could have been numerous things. Did you eat today? Are you menstruating? Are you taking any supplements? I would call your doctor tomorrow morning, and tell him/her exactly what happened, and maybe he/she might want to do some blood work. Your iron levels could have been low. There really are lots of things it could be.

I have fainted a couple of times, because I was taking Diet pills. Hadn't eaten and also had a bad hang over.

Did you feel light headed and kinda see stars at all, or was it total black out?

maybe there is alot of possibilities why you have fainted. Maybe u did not eat enough after excerising. your nutritions might be wasted. Yuo might also have anemia, the lack of blood in ur body, that might also cause you to faint. You can also have low blood pressure during that time. It might also cause you to faint.
