Back Pain for young people.?!


Question: I am 14 years old and recently acquired lower back pain. I have had it before when i was in football but it just went away after awhile. This time though i have it after i started running and now i cant run, jump, do much of anything without it hurting. Sitting and standing and walking don't cause pain. The strange thing is its been going on for about 3 weeks now without any improvements. Is there anything i can do other than "Go to the doctor" Cause there gonna say not to do sports and I dont want that. Thank you

Maby you pulled something in your back. Before you play sports you really need to do stretching first.
Try and take some Motrin or some Alive. Thats what helps my back.
But if it doesn't go away after the next 2 weeks....I do recomend you do see a doc. If you have something serious that needs attention...you are better off not playing sports for the healing time. Otherwise you could hurt yourself even worse and not play for the rest of your life.

Well im 15 and i have back pain.But its probably because i constantly clean horses hooves and carry 50 lb bags of feed from the truck to the barn.

EDIT:keep in mind that horses are 1000 lb animals and when you clean out their hooves...all their weight shifts over to you.So you become their 4th leg when your cleaning it.

As with a cure to back pain....My mom has it so mine is probably hereditary.I use heating pads on my back whenever my back hurts.

heating pad...dont sit that often bc sitting puts lots of pressure on your lower back... take pain killers like aleve or something...go to a chiropractor lol

I would get a messenger bag as a book bag for school

or just tighten the straps on your current back pack

When I got a messenger bag my back pain was gone within a week

get one that's not fancy or any thing no shoulder padding (there is really no need) and get some patches for it to make it look cool

My cousin was 15 and had cronic back pain and when he went to the doctors they found he had Cancer... not trying to scare you but it is possible. If you have been to the doctors then try other things recommended.

If you go to MD & get MRI to check your back...ask your MD to give you a prescription for physical therapy. They can do wonders.

Do Core ab exercises.
