Please help me i'm scared!!?!

Question: Ok well I just got off a 12hour flight from LA-London. While I was in LA I picked up a conjestion cold from my babysitter. I had a small headache and a really stuffed up nose, Then on the plane I got a nose bleed, But it went away shortly, Then when I came home, I was completely fine, Then I got ANOTHER nose bleed, and that lasted a loooong time, like, over an hour, Then it finally stopped after I put ice on the side of my nose, Then I felt kinda nauseas, I just took a shower, And still feel kinda nauseas. Could this be from the long flight, jet-lag, and nose bleed all combined? or what? is it stomach flu? even tho its april....? WHAT COULD THIS BE???? I'M SCARED. PLEASE HELP.!! WHERE IN THE WORLD IS THE NAUSEA COMING FROMMMM????

Thanks. In advance. :]].

P.S. While I was having the nose bleed, A LOT was coming out so I was swallowing a lot of blood (I kno, Grossss. Sorry). Could that have anything to do with the nausea? OH! and also, I haven't vomited or anything. so ya....Lol. :].

Drink lots of water. Cold water can help with the nausea a lot. Yes, the nausea is from the blood you swallowed. The nose bleed is most likely from a combination of your already stuffy nose, mixed with cabin pressure, mixed with jet lag.

If it keeps happening, go see a doctor. In the meantime, do not take any aspirin or anything. Tylenol is okay, though. Just drink some ice water, lay down and take a nice loooooong nap!

Hope you feel better soon. Oh, and no need to be scared. It's unlikely that you will bleed to death from your nose!

The nausea is probably from the blood. The nose bleed is probably from all the cabin pressure changes aggregated by the fact that you had stuffy, swollen sinuses.

Relax, it's not your brain falling out through your nose.

The nausea could be just from the nose bleed, and the nose bleed from the change in pressures during your flight, but if the nose bleed or the nausea continues much longer, you might want to call your doctor just to be on the safe side!

It's always far better to call your doctor only to find out nothing is wrong than to wait to long and end up in the ER because you didn't.
