It may not be that your so much allergic to alcohol, but possibly it may be the type of alcohol your drinking. Different Liqours and such contain different ingredients and it may very well be one of those other ingredients, it is still very possible that it is the alcohol itself. If I were you I would go and ask a doctor, their the only one's that can really be sure about such things.

D-O-C-T-O-R-S!
In my guess, you are more likley.

Yes this does sound like an allergic reaction. I'm allergic to Vodka and this is what I get. I also get tingling or itchiness in my throat and on my tongue. Go ask to have an allergy test done. If you are allergic to alcohol avoid it because your reactions can get worse to the point where you stop breathing.

My mom and I both started getting the same thing over the last year. At first we thought we were allergic to something that was in the prior shot glass that the bartenders used then we thought possibly the soap that they used to wash the glasses with etc. Benedryl would take it away for both of us. We finally came to the conclusion that it happens when we drink too fast. Best of luck, it took forever for us to figure out what the common trigger was.

I had the same problems after getting mononucleosis, the most I can drink is avbout 1/2 a tablespoon of anything before I feel really ill or hungover, so I have given up drinking completely and go dancing instead, which can give you the same kind of high.
You might have to go to a doctor and get checked out, especially if this is a new thing for you.
A lot of people cannot drink wine, especially red wine, without getting the same symptoms but you say you get it after drinking beer, so you need that checkup.

You probably are allergic to alcohol. You could talk about this with a doctor to be sure.

Some people just cannot handle alcohol. Consider yourself lucky. At least you will never become an alcoholic.
