Question: about a year ago i got my appendix out cause it ruptured. i have a scar on my lower right stomach. i can still see where the stiches were it is about 3 1/2 inches long. will it stay there my whole life?

More then likely. It will fade though.

scars can stay someones whole life but many scars fade away over time.. it depends on the serverity of the scar
Yes, but there is a product called "mederma". it helps to soften the area and makes the scar less notable. You can find it at any drug store. It works, I've used it and am happy with the results.

You don't say what your ethnic background is. In general, scare tissue fades overtime. Certain ethnic backgrounds develop keloids when cut.
Do you model or have an occupation that leaves your abdomen exposed? If you are very subconscious about it, try make up. Yes, men do wear makeup, who are not homosexuals.
