PLz help me i HAVE THE WORST SORE THROAT EVER!?!
Question: im aboy im 15
i have the worst sore throat i ever had in my life
my throat is so dry and when i swallow it seems like im cutting my throat from the inside.
WhAT SHOULD I DO?
i have no medication reach now and im trying to drink water like every 2 minutes to lubricate my throat is there anything else i can do?
plz help it hurts so much

okay.....if you have honey, then heat up some water, and put honey in it. warm sometimes feels better than cold. and the honey will lubricate your throat. if you don't have honey, then try cough drops. are your parents home? if so.....ask them. lay down, and try not to talk.if you need to communicate then write it down. also.....go see a doctor ASAP. are you having trouble breathing? if so..... you may have tonsillitus. that means that they may have to take your tonsils out. if you DON"T have tonsils, then it could just be a really bad case strep throat. that can be very painfull in some cases! feel better!! :)
You might have strep throat...I would suggest going to a doctor to get antibiotics
Or it could be something worse, ethier way have a doc check it out
I promise this works. Get 3 or so bayer aspirin and let it dissolve in a little water. Then gargle it for about 5 min. Just remember don't swallow it and don't eat or drink anything right afterwards or it will wash it all down.
Until you go to the doctor...try gargling with warm salt water or Listerine...
Drink a cup of tea and then get some Tylenol sore throat. If it doesn't go away, go to the Dr. I have allergies and my throat is really irritated right now. Tea helps.
did you eat something that could of scratched the inside of your throat? like a piece of hard candy or a ragged chip? scratches can get infected if you don't take care of them. it's possible that you could have strep throat or you might need strong medication.
when i get sore throats, i rinse with salt and water
(yeah...it's gross...but it helps!!!)

as the matter of fact , i am experiencing the same thing now. the doctor told me to drink hot soup or tea. i tried it.it reslly helps.Also,living in a cold place won't really help especially when you are sleeping. if you slept in like cold temperature, your case might be developed to a worse case ,so try to make your house a bit hotter.Don't shout, it will cause more throat soring .
