My lungs won't fill up?!

Question: I actually have a couple of questions. You can choose to answer 1 or 2 or all or none- whatever floats your boat:

a) When I breathe, it doesn't feel like my lungs fill up all of the way. Sometimes, when I yawn, my lungs do fill up all the way and they "click". They don't click literally, but I don't know how else to describe it. Why can't I always get my lungs to fill up all of the way.
b) I have a heightened gag reflex recently. I'll be chewing on food or gum, and it won't even come near the back of my throat, but it makes me gag. It sometimes even happens when I'm drinking liquid. This hasn't always happened, it's just been starting up recently.
c) Whenever I drink liquids that are really cold, I get light-headed and almost black out. Why is this?
d) I can't remember d right now, but I will add it later if I remember it.

Thank you all for your help! Best answer goes to the most thorough answer.

Sorry I can only answer a).
I think you should mention if you smoke or not. Most smokers get this. I have it but I quit smoking a long time ago but I still have it. I saw a doctor and he said its probably just because my lungs arent completely empty yet of all the years of smoking (Im only 26 though). They say it takes 2 years but its been about that for me but I still feel it but then again I occasionally smoke other things aside from cigarettes. Anxiety can cause this too if you are thinking about it too much or always stressed or nervous.

Also about the night thing, Im like that. I have some weeks (like this week) where I only sleep every other day. I dont sleep at all and stay all the way up until the next night, sleep, then do that again. Some people are just night people. Nothing really you can do about it. I make money on the internet so it really doesnt affect my life too much.

sounds like asthma. go to the doctor.
