What do my symptoms sound like?!

Question: Headache
Sore Throat
Caugh
stuffy runny nose
nasal congestion
chest congestion
body aches

Does this sound familiar to you all? I really feel terrible, and I don't know what to do. I have been in bed for the last five hours. I took advil because it was the only medicine I have and I don't feel any better. When my roommate gets back from his evening class I am going to ask him to go get me some medicine. What should I get? Also, I really don't want to miss class tomorrow. Should I just try to sleep it off tonight and go to class tomorrow?

You have a cold, or possibly the flu. You could have your roommate get you cold medicine that addresses all those symptoms. (Just give him the list of your symptoms and tell him to look at the labels to find something that covers all of them.) It will probably make you sleep whether you want to or not. If you go to class and you're taking that stuff, don't drive. You'll be too loopy. My advice would be to get a friend to take notes for you and skip class tomorrow. Your body needs rest, and the people in your class do NOT want to catch what you have.

probably a bad cold or the flu. get plenty of rest and drink lots of fluids. you should have some medicine to ease the symptoms to make you feel better. have some hot tea or soup too! if you dont feel any better, then you should probably stay in bed. you should take it easy when you're sick; it wont do you any good to get stressed out over class.
