Does donating a pint of blood have any positive or negative health effects?!

Oh... and the satisfaction of knowing you may have saved someones life from your efforts.

They say donating blood is healthy for men. Women lose blood every month, but men dont. Research also shows women tend to live longer than men. Men who donate blood every month tend to live longer--- I dont know why, but I read it in an article.

It can have negative effects if you're anemic or have other health problems. If that's the case, then dont donate.

no, your body will produce the blood back after you get it taken. ask the people you are donating your blood to, they're tell you whatever you need to know.

Nope. Your body will make more again in no time.

Positive - YES
Negative - No.

possitive affects.

I donated for the first time two months ago. My arm was a little sore for a couple days that's it. The feeling of knowing that you may help someone that really needs it is well worth it

Donating blood may lower your risk of heart disease by decreasing the iron levels in your blood.

it kinda makes you feel a lil weak, but other than that, i don't think it does anything serious to you. and if there is some kind of pre-existing conditions prior to the donation, they will let you know and suggest that you either wait for a few months or that you don't do it. i would say that if you are a healthy person and take care of yourself then you should be fine to do it. i wouldn't do it if you are a hemophiliac. that couldn't work out very well.

it should not as long as your in good health and dont do it to often
