Freckle removal gone wrong?!
Question: Okay, so i went into a day spa to get a facial and the girl told me that she could removal my freckles. She worked with a dermagologist for about 3 years and she did those procedures while she was with him. Cool.
So I got my freckles removed. I'm not exactly sure what the procedure was. She put numbing ointment alkl over my face then she peeled (i think microdermabrasion) the layers of my face off where I had freckles. Needless to say, I no longer have the freckles.
HOWEVEVER.. she told me in about a month that my face will heal up. Before, it looked like someone took a key and scraped the freckles off. She had me use vitamin a and d ointment and not wash my face for 3 days. Of course I had scabbing. Now my face is still very pink where she did the procedures. I also do not have the even skin texture I did before. It's kinda bumpy and in some places and I've got little holes in the other. Do I need to see a dermatologist? Did this go wrong or is this the normal healing? AH!

Yes, yes, go to a dermatologist. Immediately. It sounds like you've been attacked by a hack. In the meantime, get vitamin E oil on those marks and I mean now. She basically burned off your freckles and those pink spots sound like scars.
Never get a procedure like that done by an amateur. If they have to numb your skin to work, go to a trained doctor.
I would see a dermatologist.
Why on earth would you get your freckles removed? They add beauty to a girl!
