Spider in my ear??!

Question: okay so yesterday after i wrapped my hair up in a towel i felt this trickle into my ear, i thought it was just water but when i tried to get some of it out well it wasn't very wet but i didn't think much of it...later in the night i kept feeling like there was a loose piece of earwax or something in my ear and i couldn't get anything...and so around 3 in the morning *couldn't sleep* i felt this warm trickling sort of feeling come out of my right ear and so i start picking at my ear and i end up freaking out and going to the bathroom only nothing was there...i came back to my bed only to find a dead smushed spider on my pillow. disgusting story and my sheets are in the wash...
so what i want to know is if there's a way i can get over this...experience?? *terrified of spiders and of all bugs it haaad to be a spider* but oh well since it's out.
And how do i tell if it bit me or left a sack of baby spiders waiting to crawl out into the open?? *yes i'm slightly paranoid**

I understand you are freaked right now, I def. would be! Spiders can crawl anywhere, it probably got in the towel you used, so just inspect things before you use them.

I highly doubt it left anything like eggs or a bite but just in case I'd make an appointment with your doc, just to be sure, they'll probably ask you to explain what happened, and if you have any symptoms of spider bites. Then they'll take a little look-sey in your ears, They will probably look at both ears and around the surrounding area. I doubt you would have a problem, but if sudden symptoms come on fast call 911.

But I HIGHLY doubt if you havent had any pain, redness, swelling, cramps, rapid heartbeat (aside from freaking out), headache or exhaustion (just to name a few). I am sure you are fine. As for the eggs, go to your doctor to have them take a look, It sounds like the little spider wasn't in there too long!

Good luck,
with all present spiders in your life and in the future!

A Spider not in your ear, you can't April Fool me.

there is no baby spiders. you would feel them. if u dont believe me the get a q-tip and look fer egs

Don't worry, spiders dont eat brains so it can't have enough nutrients to feed its young.
ie, baby spiders wont hatch.
Hope that makes you feel better, im sure it'll come out in a couple of days :P

Grow up. The things you should be scared of certainly can't be squished on a pillow.

I remember hearing a story about a little boy who had spiders in his ear, and what you described doesn't sound like what happened with him.

Since the spiders would be close to your eardrum you'd definitely be able to hear them crawling around in your ear. I'm guessing a spider just crawled up on your pillow and you squished it with your head.

It was probably water in your ear and it didn't get out for a while, hence the water being warm.

they dont want to remain there. if youre so afraid of them use ear plugs, cotton balls or ear buds while you sleep. :)
