yes, only to get off major drugs like heroine. methadone is pretty much just like heroine. it will really mess you up in and of it's self and people on methadone are addicted to it and can never stop taking it. pretty much anyone on methadone has some major, major issues.
i will tell you why people use methadone,for pain or heroin treatment among other thing's.I've been on it for 2 years and yes it is a very dangerous drug but only to those who are not educated about it like drug addict's.I take it for chronic pain from a car accident I was in 8 yrs ago.for the person who said people who take methadone have issues is a ******* nimrod,the only person with issues is you.people who are not responsible and sell it are the bad people and the ones killing people.methadone if taken like it's prescribed by a pain management doctor will have no problem's,believe me they make sure thir butt's are covered so they make sure you can take it witout any bad side effect's and if you do have them tell your doc and they will take u off of it.not all people who take methadone are drug addicts or bad people they are honest hard working people who need it because nothing else work's.and if you think you can get high on it your wrong,maybe if you took way to much but then your talking death.hey nimrod maybe you should think befor u type stupid **** u no nothing about!sorry but people like that really get me going.hope ive answered your question ,?
