Clonazepam- PLEASE HELP ME!!!!?!
Question: MY BOYFRIEND STUMBLED OVER MY OLD CLONAZEPAM PRESCRIPTION LAST NIGHT AND TOOK THREE 1MG. TABS. I FREAKED BECAUSE I KNOW NOT TO SHARE PRESCRIPTIONS BUT DIDNT WORRY BECAUSE IM 5'3-105LBS. &HES 5'9-130ISH LBS. AND MY SCRIPT WAS FOR 1-3 TABS BEFORE BED. LAST NIGHT HE WAS FINE, A BIT OUT OF IT AND ALMOST LIKE HE WAS DRUNK, BUT COMPLETELY AWARE AND COHERENT. HE FELL ASLEEP AROUND 4 AND WHEN I TRIED TO WAKE HIM 20MINUTES AGO HE WOULDNT MOVE! HES SNORING AND BREATHING HEAVY... I HIT HIM AND SHOOK HIM, I PULLED HIM UP SO HE WAS SITTING AND HE JUST MUMBLED AND THEN SHOUTED SOMETHING THAT MADE NO SENSE AND FELL BACK ASLEEP. I CANT GET HIM TO WAKEUP AND IM WORRIED! I READ ONLINE AND FOUND A FEW THINGS SIMILAR AND THEY ALL SAY ITS NO BIG DEAL...
IS IT? IM SCARED! I NEED ADVICE! ANYTHING!!!! TELL ME WHAT TO DO?!?!?!?!

As long as he is just sleeping he is ok, and as long as he hadn't had any other medication and/or been drinking he should be fine and he will sleep it off, Keep an eye on him for sure. But if you are really worried you may wake him again and tell him your calling an ambulance that may jar him a bit..
If he stops breathing call EMS, breath for him until they get there, then when he is fully awake slap some sence into him.
As long as he's breathing let him sleep it off. Your only other option is to call an ambulance. It's too late to make him get sick (which is what you should have done when he took them) because it's already been digested. You can also call poison control and see what their recommendations are.
he will wake up after the effect is gone.however find out why he took that! stole it -and took so many! if he has a problem-in life or a drug problem go to narcotic anonymous!
He should be OK But keep a close eye on him!! That stuff affects everybody different.I take xanax gave 1 to a girl friend knocked her out me I take 3 a day all it does is calm me down so I dont have panic attacks!! Dont share your meds OK
if your not taking the medicine anymore get rid of it crush it up with coffee grounds and tear off the label before putting in the garbage as for your bf get on the phone and tell them what happened oh poison control and if the medicine is expired this causes a lot of different side effects. hurry so you will be OK. and not worried.
