Vick's Vapor rub is great. If you read the directions it says for chapped skin. Of course it smells, but the bonus is it works over night, so you'll be smooth and not stinky in the morning.

It's also good for chapped hands and feet and nose from the too much blowing!

Original Chap-Stik is more waxy than oily.

You could try Amolin, its a cream for babies, it comes in a rather largish tube, and is inexpensive. I use it when I have really really dry lips. Especially good if you put it on before you go to bed. Hope this helps

Coconut oil is excellent, there is a site call Tropical Traditions that pffers some excellent skin care products using organic & Virgin coconut oitl plus much more...excellent healthy products...If you are interested it is www.tropicaltraditions.com...you can also use plain vaseline or zinc ointment or zinc cream. Getting used to having lipsticks that are nourishing is a good way to keep the lips is 'smacking-good' shape as well~
