Help! is my dog going to be okay??!
Question: Sorry if you saw this already, I'm sort of freaking...
My dog went to the vet for the first time last saturday. She got the rabies vaccine and also a parvo shot. Everything was fine, she did really well. However, today I was petting her and I noticed there is a medium size lump where the shots were given. Is this normal or do I need to take her back asap. Like I said, she's never been and she's my first dog so I do not know what to expect as far as side affects..

Call the vet, I'm sorry, but I really think that would be the best thing to do. And if their office is closed call a place with a DR on call, even a hospital. They give shots there and should be able to sort of explain what is going on with your puppy.
I have always given my dogs their own shots and a bump usaully always comes up after the shot is given, then goes away, however, with the lump just showing up now, I would at least call the vet where you took the puppy.
