Friend Sick?!
Question: I had a question about a friend, ok, yesterday, he went to school, during school, he said he felt sick, and the band teacher wouldn't let him go to the nurse (dumb I know..) His throat was hurting.. Anyways.. So my family is going camping tonight, and yesterday was his first time feeling sick.. He is supposed to go with us... He said he threw up a few times, had a headache, and throat ache... Now, what I want to know is, is he contagious?? he still wants to come.. but I don't want him making all of us sick... is there a way to know if he is? or to make it so he isn't? he went to school today, and took medicine last night, so I hope that means he feels better (since he went to school) then again his mom said he couldn't go camping if he missed any days of school... I just want to know your opinions. (from people that know what they are talking about) Oh he was going to go to the doctor, but she wasn't working today, so he was going to go to the emergency, but instead, went to school.

Sounds like he might have the flu or a stomach bug. I would suggest not letting him come. Most likely the medicine he took will help suppress the symptoms but he is probably contagious. If he does go I suggest a lot of hand sanitizer and sleeping in separate tents.
