How many idiots think that blood is blue inside your body?!
Question: I just answered a question for someone who was asking what color blood is when it's inside your body. 90% of the answers said that it was blue and then became red when it hit the air. Everyone was really sure of themselves. Are you freakin' kidding me?

ummm that is true.. your blood is blue in your body... look at your veins.. theyre blue!
the blood in your arteries is red, bright red because it has oxygen in it. the blood in your veins is indeed blue, why do you think the veins you can see just under your skin are blue?
When blood is drawn from a vein, it comes in contact with the oxygen in the air and become dark red. No, no one was kidding you, you are just ignorant enough not to know when you hear the truth.

i'm actually pretty sure that blood that is not carrying oxygen is blue. Blood coming from the heart full of oxygen would be red and blood returning to the heart would be blue. Are we having an argument about how blue is blue?
