Inhaler Help?!

Question: I got an inhaler today from the doctor because I have a really bad cough and it does help a bit when I use it but afterwards I feel a bit shakey. Is this because Im not used to using an inhaler?

Note - I am not asthmatic

Yes, this is a side effect of inhalants that most people have,

This is because it mimics your sympathetic nervous system, which is responsible for what they call "fight or flight" (kinda like an adrenaline rush) when your in an emergency situation, or see something scary. These can increase your blood pressure which is probably the reason for being so shaky. Basically they speed you up... and cause an anxious feeling

This is an expected outcome of taking something like this.
Your Fine!

I'm pretty sure that's the reason because my friend had an inhaler for the same reason and she hated the taste so it gave her the chills.

Probablly but im no doctor

My boy uses inhaler, but feels OK after it. He takes Ventolin and bisolvon. I guess it is your reaction to the medicine you are inhaling. Check side effects.

The shakes may be a side effect of the medication. Read up on it.

No- it is a common side effect. My daughter (20) has been using albuteral since she was 2 yrs old. She still gets a bit shaky when she has to use her inhaler, but it is always much worse when she has to use her nebulizer ( a machine that turns the medication into a mist ) it does what it is supposed to, which is to get a larger amount of the med deep into the lungs.
