A sharp stinging or stabbing pain in your kidney area could be due to kidney stones. Drinking plenty of water will help for the pain.
Perhaps you could try to dissolve them and flush them out with cranberry juice or some other means.
A web search for "kidney stones" + dissolve might perhaps be of interest.
that doesnt seem normal. And 4 eight long months? go to the doctor ASAP!
