How does the small intestine treat alcohol?(mine hurts after poisoning)?!

Question: Im kinda scared because I had isopropyl alcohol poisoning about 5 days ago and my stomach still hurts (Im certain its my small intestine). I assume that the small intestine treats isopropyl just like normal alcohol, and I have read that majority of alcohol is soaked up by the small intestine. Is it normal for me to feel pain there or is it something seriously damaged by the alcohol? I noticed it hurts more when I eat alot (I assume because its damaged and the food passing through is widening it and causes the pain). Anybody know if its something that might be permanent or is this very common in people who drink alcohol and it will just go away on its own probably? (My doctor in the emergency room wasnt of any help since she thinks that my life is not worth anything because I made the mistake of doing something stupid which caused my isopropyl poisoning, she basically told me that I can expect stomach problems but wasnt too specific.)

me thinks you caused an ulcer or some kind of irritation and it will go away in time

as always, see your doctor(or in this case another doctor)

please don't be so stupid as to drink iso.......bahh you know the routine

You should follow up with a GP or a gastroenterologist for continuing care and follow-up appointments.

ER doctors are often very busy and sometimes don't take as much time with their patients as they should. Not that that's an excuse - but it's the way things are unfortunately.

I don't know what you were trying to accomplish. You probably already know this, but isoproanol is a poor choice for getting drunk and a poor choice for suicide (those are the only reasons I could think of why you would drink rubbing alcohol).
Seeking assistance in dealing with whatever drove you to do such a thing would be wise.
