Stomach Aches and Bottom Burns?!

Question: In the past I have drunk to much Coca-Cola and it made me get stomach pains I have not drunk coke in 1month and abit and I decided to have some, I filled up a glass with ice(full) then filled the glass up till about halfway. I drank it slowly. Pretty much when i finished it had the urge to go to the toilet where I let out loads of gas but no poo, then got massive pains in the lower part of my belly. They died down and I contemplated the thought of it being the Coca-Cola, About an hr later I rush to the toilet and did some runny poo, and it BURNT my bottom like never felt before probably some of the worse burning pains ever felt in my entire life, they lasted about 5mins then slowly died down.

I should also mention I get stomach pains on and off since I had major pains about 2months ago and they occurred pretty much every day until 1 week or so ago, which they were slowly getting less and less painful.
I have been to the doctors but they keep refering me to other places.

Was it Diet Coke?? Diet coke has an artificial chemically concocted sweetner in it called Aspartame. Nasty, nasty stuff ....... anyways, if this is the case then perhaps you are having an allergic or severely intolerant reaction to the chemical contained in the Coke??

As you worked out yourself, before you stopped drinking it for a month, it gave you tummy and digestive problems...... by ditching the Coke you relieved all the symptoms and detoxed your body from it ........ brilliant move, one which you are to be applauded for. However, it's a bit like going off drugs or alcohol (both addictive substances as is the sugary coke) ....... after abstaining from an addictive substance then coming back and trying to use the same amount your body is simply giving you a message that is loud & clear to ditch the coke buddy....... after abstaining for a month you can no longer tolerate this sludge at all ?

Don't panic too much, just stay away from foods & drinks that upset your tummy and digestive system and drink loads of fresh filtered water ? That could be another reason why you are still having digestive troubles.......... water, water, water, at least 2 ~ 3 litres per day is needed to keep us vital, hydrated properly and healthy ?

Expecting your digestive system to digest food and transport essential vitamins and nutrients with no water in your system is an extremely huge ask ............ Water is imperative to life. Without water your body will have a terrible time breathing, digesting food, transporting nutrients, lubricating your joint sockets etc.etc.etc.etc......... nothing substitutes for water. your body needs at least 2 litres of water daily to function efficiently.

try to cut back on drinks such as coffee, tea, alcohol also (if you drink any of them) which will all do great job of dehydrating you. ie: just 1 can of soda or soft drink will make your body peesh out up to 12 cups of water !!! 1 cup of coffee will make your body peesh out about 2 cups of water ........... read the book by F. Batmanghelidj, M.D.... "Your body's many cries for water"...... an astounding and scary and very true read.
