Why are my eyes bloodshot????!
Question: I never get bloodshot eyes and they are always very white and clear. I go to optitions every 6 months as I am a contact lense user, so I dont think this is the problem...this morning I have woken up with very bloodshot eyes. I have had a shower thinking it may just be because im tired or something but its still there?
What can be the problem...I have researched about it but its more for people who get it contstantly...
help please!

There are numerous infections you can get from dirty contact lenses. It could also be pink-eye.... Lack of sleep and allergies may also cause it, as well as lack of lubrication (tears)...
I can go on and on about the many things that could cause it...if your eye/eyes are red for day or two straight..consider seeing your optometrist.
did you have a good drink last night as that often happens to me
if theres any irritation, could be an eye infection.
my dad gets bloodshot eyes often, try taking eye drops often. it could mean they're dry. Do not take visine regularily though.
i also would suggest seeing a doctor who could know for sure whats going on.

It could be hay fever., or an allergy to something.
don't take marijuana.
