Is this normal?????!
Question: My mom is 5'5". My dad is 5'11". My 17 year old brother is 6'1". My 11 year old sister is 5'0". Almost all my relatives are on the taller side except for my aunt who is 5'1". I am a 14 year old girl and only 4'9.5". I started my period 2.5-3 years ago. I have only grown about 1.5 inches since I was 12 years old. I am currently below the 3rd percentile on the growth chart. Should I worry about my growth? Could I have a growth problem?

Although you are probably too tall to be regarded as a midget or a dwarf you might perhaps wish to investigate a web search for "pituitary gland" + dwarfism and perhaps another one for "pituitary gland" + hgh.
don't worry. i though i was done growing too when i was 14. you will most likely still grow some.

You COULD pontentially have a growth problem but you have to remember that you are still growing. The age range that marks the surcease in growth is usually from 15-25 years. So you still have a while to grow.

You should like your height though. When I was growing up I wanted to be shorter because it looks so much more feminine! I'm 5 8 so it was slightly frustrating growing up with all my crushes being several inches under me! I also think guys tend to like shorter girls.
