When you donate blood, how do you find out what blood type you are?!

Question: Normally they will do a blood type test immediately. If they don't then just ask them when your return to donate. Many of the blood donation records are stored on a centralized database accessible by blood donation organizations such as the Red Cross.

dont they tell you on your birth certificate...well at least mine was on there.
