Why does my stomach rumble when I am not hungry?!


Question: Are stomach rumbles and hunger related?
I always thought it was, but it often does it when I am not hungry.

your stomach is not as full as it thinks it should be so the air and gastric juices inside your stomach move around and cause the sound we are so use to as growling(rumbly in my tumbly)

The rumbling is the air and gastric juices. Dunno why they do it though.

i think it has summit to do with being thirsty too. not sure tho.
try having a glass of water.

Abdominal sounds (bowel sounds) are made by the movement of the intestines as they push food through. Since the intestines are hollow, bowel sounds can echo throughout the abdomen much like the sounds heard from water-pipes.
The majority of the bowel sounds are harmless and simply indicate that the gastrointestinal tract is working. A doctor, or nurse, can evaluate abdominal sounds by listening to the abdomen with a stethoscope.

Its just your food being digested and the movement of food through the intestines that causes the rumbling

its probably wind
