Texture of head /skull ?!
Question: Ok..this is a weird weekend question. I have always noticed that there is a groove or ridge on the right side of my head. it is about 3-4 inches long. Is this a normal thing that everyone has? or could I have had a childhood skull fracture. mmmm

if it is what i think you are talking about, it is a suture, that is a growing area to allow the skull to grow
the bones of the skull are many, and you have specific bones that cover the brain, frontal, temporal, occiptal and so forth.

I didn't have time to read it all but there are such things as cranial ridges It talks too about skull fractures that seem somewhat uncommon with that If nothing else you will learn some skull anatomy
