For the past few weeks, I've been having a sleeping problem?!

Question: I'm a 15 year old girl.

I just can't get to sleep, and wake up several times during the night, then wake up at about 6 every day. >.<

If it's relevant, I'm on Spring Break, so no school. I've been lazing around a lot. So, yeah, I have been stressing about exams and homework a lot before I sleep, but I just can't help it!
I can't sleep at all without reading a book...I listen to music before I go to bed but don't really have anything soothing.

Any tips? :| Even when I go to the gym/swimming some mornings I can't sleep at night. I'm not sure what to do because I've started feeling really lethargic during the day, and can't get down to do my work because I just can't concentrate.

Many thanks.

I think you basically answered your own question.Stressing about school and listening to music before bed.How relaxing is that.

Study up for the exams during the day at least for awhile so you won't have to stress over them. You will be assured to know the answers. No soothing music?Buy one of the natures sounds c/ds and listen to that while you read your book.I use a fan for white noise and have for years.Cannot sleep without it going to block out background noises.

Sometimes a hot drink,or a hot bath help one relax.Try doing more during the day to stimulate your brain so it doesn't work over-time all night.

I can never get to sleep either, i have recently spent three nights in a row with no sleep at all. heres some tips...
. Try doing some exercise and keep active through the day.
.Don't eat or drink sugary things or caffeinated things just before going to bed.
.Try to relax and if somethings worrying you, find a way to get it out of your mind.
.If you have no soothing music, would it be possible not to lsten to it? it would help.
.Do not sleep with your light on. It disturbs your sleep.
.Try to feel confident about your exams. If you have revised enough and done all your homework theres nothing to worry about. Good luck and i hope it improves.
