I have Appendix, oh no. Anyone had it removed ?!
Question: Since few days i have been experiencing pain in that region and today at 3 am morning i woke up vomiting and hell. I couldn't even stand of walk or sit. Later in the morning we went to doctor where he said its appendix. But its just swollen and medicines will cure it within days. My dad told me all these horrific things, my uncle suffered when he got an appendix attack. It is so hell painful that you fall and act like a fish on a land. What i am afraid is that i heard appendix can be removed only when you get that attack and not before it. What the F ? Is it really true ?

I had mine removed when i was 12 by key hole surgery it was extremely pain full and struck me in the middle of the night.
I went into hospital first thing had it removed by lunch time. I am not sure if you have to have the pain to have it removed sounds a bit weird new medicines and technology these days

Every one is born with AN Appendix. (you definitely aren't as smart as a fifth grader)
