No, I don't think hyperactivity leads to laziness. There is such a thing as chronic fatigue. This is such a coincidence because last week my husband and I argued about laziness vs. being tired. I say he's lazy, he says he's tired. But he has a lot of bad habits, or habits that aren't helping his tired feeling. I was recently hospitalized for surgery, and when the nurses came in to check my oxygen levels, they'd tell me to breathe deeply. I'd go from low levels to normal in a matter of seconds.

Having said that, I don't know all of your habits, like how do you sleep at night? Do you get a good night's, restful sleep? How many hours do you get? Do you snore or suffer from sleep apnea, because if you do, your body is oxygen-deprived and that could cause that tired feeling. What type of job do you do? Do you take breaks to re-energize or give your eyes and hands a rest? Do you take deep breaths periodically during the day?

And believe me, those people you see with two jobs, single parents and so forth -- they're tired too! We're all tired, there aren't enough hours in the day anymore. There's not enough fresh air around. People do get hospitalized for exhaustion. When I'm tired, I get sick (like I am now), and I have to slow down. So you can either slow down now, or slow down later. But if the body needs rest, there's a reason for it; either something you're not doing or something out of your control.
