I'm really worried!!!?!

Question: I am a fairly thin person, 19 years old and I've noticed that my upper abdomen (like right below my rips and a little above my belly button) seems to be sticking out and has been PULSATING (the rest of my stomach is its normal, flat self). I can't lay on my stomach at night like I used to when I sleep because it's annoying. It doesn't hurt unless I squeeze down on it (it isn't hard, just kinda bloated I guess). I'm very paranoid and I've been searching online and I see results about aneurysms and hernias and I'm getting nervous. I have IBS and I just recently had a bad episode of it triggered by stress and so I've also been very gaseous lately. Should I be concerned? When I tell my parents about it they tell me I'm being paranoid.

Call and ask your doctor - he will not think you're paranoid and will very likely give you a quick answer!

Good luck - hope it's nothing serious!

do what KYGrace said - you may have damaged something and it is better to get things checked out early than too late
