Is it possible to die from a single drop of water?!
Question: I stupidly argued to my husband that "anyone could die from anything" and he challenged me to come up with a way that a single drop of water could kill. I already tried deadly virus in the water - no dice. It has to actually be the water that kills. (This is morbid, sorry.) So... any ideas? Be creative!

Get the water moving at a ridiculous velocity. If it was going fast enough I would bet it would go through something vital.

He didn't say what "type" of water, I mean a really, germy, drop of water could kill you. Oh! He didn't say the "size", but yes a giant drop of water could kill you and drown you. It sounds crazy, but hey it's possible.
There is an illness called water intoxication. Due to excess water intake the persons sodium drops too low. It is fatal if not treated.. I figure there must be a point in the water intake that they only need one more drop too decrease the sodium enough to kill them.

You can kill someone by injecting them with an air bubble, but 1 drop of water.. nope...

Look at it in reverse, If all you HAD was a single drop of water then you would die of thirst in 7 days. And it only takes an ounce of water in your lungs to drown you.

Hah this is something i would do. Okay here are a few of my ideas:
They slip on the drop of water
Water can come out with alot of pressure and injure them
The drop could get lodged in there wind pipe
It could be a drop of very powerful acid rain
Could be that they were dying of dehydration and this one drop did not save them so they died.
I originally thought a drop of water in the brain might kill a person, but reasoned that the injection would do you in first. My guess is if the drop was fired at you at a high enough velocity to penetrate a vital organ -- even air guns can kill.
Or if a rain drop gets in your eye, makes your vision fuzz, you walk into the road and get hit by a car, followed by sepsis and massive organ failure at the hospital.
Either way.
